For over two decades, my work has explored the symbolic and philosophical traditions woven into American culture through research into early American history and cross cultural philosophies. I’m especially drawn to the impact and influence of esoteric and cross cultural philosophical traditions on the early American thinkers as they established this new nation. My work seeks to reveal forgotten meanings found in our national icons, objects, cities through an examination of these embedded symbols. At the heart of my work is a desire to deepen our understanding of where we’ve been, who we are, and where we’re going. I see my art as a way of inviting others into a collective process of questioning, contemplating, and re-imagining our roles in the American experiment. My personal guiding motto: “Seek, Discover, and Share your Findings.”
