"Little Amy"

Amy grew up in a family in which her mother Susan abandoned her husband and children to strike off into the world of radical Lesbianism. For a time, the mother would present herself publicly in very crude and raucous ways, fortunately for the children, in a town some distance away.

Fortunately for Tom, the husband, his mother still being a youthful grandmother stepped into void and managed the situation. Some time later when Susan had perhaps ‘expressed herself’ sufficiently, she engaged in an attempt to reconcile with the children which, apparently experienced a somewhat limited success. During that troubled period, Amy developed an anorexia nervosa condition from which she still suffers now at the age of 22.
